Morris Markin, along with a group of enthusiasts, established Checker Motors Corporation in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Their vision was to produce reliable and durable vehicles that would cater to the needs of both taxi companies and individual drivers alike.

Today marks something not only curious but also impressive about Checker: even though they’re no longer producing their renowned vehicles commercially since closing production facilities over thirty years ago wish majestically started manufacturing battery-powered commercial delivery vans alongside equipping existing chargers converting them into electric power sources revolutionizing transportation once again.
