The Daimler Company Limited, originally known as the Daimler Motor Company Limited, was a prominent British motor vehicle manufacturer established in London in 1896 by H.J. Lawson. The company later relocated its manufacturing operations to Coventry. Daimler secured the rights to the Daimler name from both Gottlieb Daimler and Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft of Cannstatt, Germany. Following initial financial challenges, the company underwent a reorganization in 1904. In 1910, the Birmingham Small Arms Company (BSA) acquired the Daimler Motor Company, expanding its portfolio of car manufacturing.
