The KG Mobility Corporation, also known as KGM, is an automobile manufacturer based in South Korea. Originally established in 1954, the company underwent several changes in ownership and names over the years. In 1986, it was acquired by the SsangYong Group, a chaebol, and was subsequently named SsangYong Motor Company in 1988. Following this, the company changed hands multiple times, being acquired by Daewoo Motors, SAIC Motor, and Mahindra & Mahindra.

Most recently, in 2022, the company was acquired by the KG Group and rebranded as the KG Mobility Corporation in March 2023. This acquisition marked a new chapter for the company,
