Th. Schneider, a French car manufacturer, was established in 1910 by Théodore Schneider in Besançon, France. Known for its participation in early automobile manufacturing, Schneider started with a collaboration in the Rochet-Schneider company before founding his own company. The vehicles initially featured innovative design elements such as dashboard-mounted radiators. Th. Schneider gained some renown through its active participation in motor racing, including the French Grand Prix. The company, however, faced financial instability, leading to its first bankruptcy in 1921 and eventually ceasing operations in 1930 after a second bankruptcy. Today, Th. Schneider is a historical footnote in the automotive world, remembered for its early contributions to car manufacturing and racing.
