The Toyota Tundra is a full-size pickup truck produced by the Japanese manufacturer Toyota in the United States since May 1999. It was the first full-size pickup from a Japanese automaker to be built in North America. The Tundra has received several accolades, including being nominated for the North American Truck of the Year and winning Motor Trend magazine’s Truck of the Year in 2000 and 2008. Initially manufactured in Indiana, production was later moved to Toyota’s Texas plant in 2008.
