BMW

Founded in 1916, BMW, or Bayerische Motoren Werke AG, began with aircraft engines. Gustav Otto’s aviation venture in 1910 laid its foundation, later becoming BMW in 1922. Their first car, the BMW 3/15, was launched in 1928. Despite challenges like WWII and a near-takeover, BMW’s commitment to performance and innovation persists.
