Introduced in 2013 and built through 2020, this rear-wheel-drive sedan represents the longer-running and more driver-focused configuration of the F10 D5, using the same 3.0-litre twin-turbo diesel producing 350 hp and 700 Nm but improving the 0-100 km/h time to 5.1 seconds over its wagon predecessor. Power is managed through Alpina's Switch-Tronic automatic gearbox, allowing manual gear selection via steering-wheel-mounted buttons. The sedan format and extended production run made it the definitive D5 F10 variant.
