As this is a social occasion, attendees are asked to maintain respect toward fellow participants and nearby businesses, with no hooning permitted. Visitors are encouraged to purchase a coffee and relax throughout the morning.

To help us prepare appropriately, please indicate your attendance by clicking "Going" on the Facebook event. Following improvements made since our inaugural event, parking arrangements and traffic management have been enhanced to ensure smoother operations throughout your visit. Please note the following guidelines: Should you be attending in your everyday vehicle or prefer not to have your car on display, kindly use the surrounding streets for parking rather than the designated display area. The parking layout has been designed to prevent early departures from being obstructed by other vehicles. The display area gates will close at 10:15am. Participant Terms and Conditions Entry into the display area with a vehicle constitutes acceptance of the following terms: "The event" refers to Vic Park Pit Stop taking place in the display area on the date of entry. The South Australian Motor Sport Board is responsible for organising the event. At all times while present on site, participants must comply with all directions given by the organiser and venue staff. The organiser may refuse entry at their discretion without obligation to provide explanation. Reckless driving, skids and alcohol will not be accepted. Exit monitoring and footage capture are operational, with evidence of hooning supplied to relevant authorities. Participants found to be non-compliant will face exclusion from subsequent events. The organisers, promoters, venue, and associated agents and employees disclaim all responsibility for participant or vehicle loss or damage of any nature. Participants agree to defend and indemnify the organisers, promoters and sponsors against all claims, legal actions or demands resulting from their event participation. Participants certify that they are the registered owner of their vehicle, that insurance and registration are current, and that all operators possess a current driving licence. Following the event's conclusion, all vehicles must be removed in accordance with the organiser's requirements. Non-compliance may incur handling and storage fees. The organiser may postpone the event in cases of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances beyond their control. Rescheduling does not entitle participants to reimbursement of any expenses. All content generated by the organiser relating to the event, including photographs of exhibited vehicles, is owned by the organiser. MORANBAH Short Course 🏆 Round 6 of the Mickey Thompson ARB Qld Off Road Racing Championship 👤 Presented by Mackay Off Road Racing Inc. 📆 Friday 17th July through Sunday 19th July 📍 Held at the Newmans Motorsport complex, 375 Railway Road, Moranbah QLD 4744 Racing will run across up to 6 sections, with each section covering up to 3 laps of a roughly 12km track. On-site camping is available, with toilets and hot showers on the grounds. A $20 camping fee applies per person aged 16 and over, while spectators get in free. Cash-only BBQ breakfast and lunch will be sold at the track both Saturday and Sunday, though there's no dinner option — Moranbah township is just 4kms up the road if you need it. A historic 19 km mountain road through rainforest, the Gillies Range Road provided the first vehicular route from the coast at Gordonvale near Cairns to the Atherton Tablelands. This iconic thoroughfare will celebrate its centenary in July 2026. On 11 July, a vehicle procession will depart at 8am and continue until 12 noon, travelling up the range. This four-hour window is purposefully chosen to reflect the original characteristics of the pioneering road, which featured a narrow single-direction design. The procession will terminate in Yungaburra, where an exhibition of vehicles will be accompanied by various community celebrations. The month of July offers ideal conditions, with mild weather that is particularly suitable for touring in open vehicles.
