Lakeside Park's Shake-Out Test & Tune, General Practice and Track Day is back. This event is open to all cars for a full day of driving on the Lakeside Park circuit. Shake-Out Test & Tune is for drivers who want to test, tune and adjust their cars to make them faster and improve handling and braking. General Practice targets drivers aiming for quicker lap times. The new format gives plenty of opportunity to complete multiple flying laps. Track Day welcomes any road-registered, roadworthy car. It suits street car owners who want to drive the track at their own pace. Bring your car and spend the day at Lakeside Park.

A two-day track event held at DriveIT NQ. Day one features a 12-hour night session. Day two offers 8 hours of track time. The event has a Tropic Thunder theme, with participants encouraged to wear Hawaiian shirts and fake moustaches for 80s-style fun. A valid RACERS Clubman race licence is required to compete.

Townsville Ford Enthusiast Club Display at Balgal Beach Markets Saturday, August 1st 8:00am to 12:00pm Balgal Beach Markets The Townsville Ford Enthusiast Club is setting up a club display at Balgal Beach Markets. Come along to see the cars, meet the club members, and support the local markets while enjoying the beach. Club members are encouraged to bring their vehicles. A pre-meet is planned at Sticks and Grinds Cafe from 6:45am to 7:20am, with the group departing at 7:20am sharp to set up the display.
