The Reid Park Street Circuit is a 2.86 km, 13-turn semi-permanent course beside the Ross River in Townsville, built in 2009 for the Townsville 500. It hosts the Supercars Championship's North Queensland round each July, with Aussie Racing Cars, Porsche Sprint Challenge and other categories in support, and is one of the best-attended events on the calendar.
