The Audi A7 is an executive five-door liftback model that has been in production by Audi since 2010. It is essentially the coupé variant of the Audi A6 saloon/estate, characterized by a stylish sloping roofline, steeply raked rear window, integrated boot lid forming the Sportback, and four frameless doors. In 2021, Audi introduced an extended-wheelbase three-box, four-door saloon version known as the A7L exclusively in China. The Audi A7 was initially conceptualized with the Audi Sportback concept in 2009. The concept car is equipped with a powerful 3.0-litre V6 TDI clean diesel engine generating 225 PS (165 kW; 222 hp) of power and 550 N⋅m (406 lbf⋅ft) of torque. It boasts a range of high-performance features including a 7-speed S tronic transmission, quattro permanent all-wheel-drive system, five-link front suspension, continuous damping control shock absorbers, and electromechanical steering. Additionally, the Audi Sportback concept incorporates ceramic brake discs (380 mm front and 356 mm rear), front 6-piston monobloc aluminium brake calipers, rear floating-caliper brakes, and rolls on stylish 21-inch wheels.
