The E quattro produces 174 PS and 250 Nm of torque, figures that indicate a larger or differently tuned five-cylinder engine compared to the 20V quattro, and it reaches 100 km/h in 8.0 seconds with its manual all-wheel-drive setup. The higher torque output gives it a more relaxed delivery suited to both everyday driving and cross-country pace. It sits directly below the S2 in the Coupe hierarchy while offering a meaningful step up over the 2.0-litre quattro.
