The Bentley Continental GT, introduced in 2003 by Bentley Motors, is a luxurious grand touring car available in both two-door coupé and convertible models. This vehicle marked Bentley's first major release following their acquisition by Volkswagen AG in 1998 and represented a shift towards modern mass production techniques for the company. The Continental GT was designed to bring a new level of accessibility to the Bentley lineup while preserving its exclusive and prestigious image. This model was accompanied by the Bentley Continental Flying Spur, a four-door saloon variant, expanding the brand's offerings in the luxury car market. Prior to the Continental GT's debut, Rolls-Royce Motors, then the owner of the Bentley brand, showcased the Concept Java at the 1994 Geneva Motor Show
