The M140i Steptronic shares the 340 hp, 500 Nm B58 turbocharged straight-six of its manual sibling but pairs it with an eight-speed automatic gearbox while retaining rear-wheel drive. The Steptronic's faster gear changes trim the 0 to 100 km/h time to 4.6 seconds, a tenth quicker than the manual variant.
