The M135i is the manual-transmission variant of BMW's M Performance flagship in the F21 range, using a turbocharged inline-six petrol engine producing 326 hp and 450 Nm. Rear-wheel drive and a six-speed manual gearbox result in a 0-100 km/h time of 5.1 seconds, two tenths slower than the automatic version but retaining direct driver engagement. The M135i was developed with input from BMW M GmbH and features sport-tuned suspension, variable sport steering, and Brembo front brakes.
