Available during the early F30 production years, the 320i EfficientDynamics Edition sedan used a 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo petrol engine producing 170 hp and 250 Nm, paired with an automatic gearbox and rear-wheel drive, reaching 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds. EfficientDynamics measures including Brake Energy Regeneration and an Auto Start-Stop function were applied to reduce consumption relative to the standard 320i. This was a relatively rare petrol application of the EfficientDynamics specification within the F30 lineup.
