The 330e is the F30 generation's plug-in hybrid sedan, combining a TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor for a combined system output of 252 hp and 420 Nm, with a 0-100 km/h time of 6.1 seconds. It operates on rear-wheel drive through an eight-speed Steptronic automatic and offers a limited all-electric range for urban driving. The 330e was BMW's answer to growing demand for electrified powertrains in the compact executive segment without a full compromise in driving character.
