The 730d xDrive Steptronic adds BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive system to the 258 hp, 560 Nm diesel powertrain of the standard 730d, shaving the 0 to 100 km/h time to 6.0 seconds through improved traction off the line. It represents the most capable wet-weather configuration available in the diesel 730 range during the post-facelift period from 2012 to 2015. The eight-speed Steptronic gearbox manages power distribution alongside the xDrive transfer case.
