The facelifted 730Ld Steptronic, produced from 2012, brought a revised 3.0-litre diesel to 258 hp and lifted torque to 560 Nm, while the updated eight-speed Steptronic gearbox cut the 0 to 100 km/h time to 6.2 seconds despite the long-wheelbase body. That improvement of over a second compared to the pre-facelift 730Ld reflects meaningful gains from both the engine revision and the gearbox upgrade. Rear-wheel drive was retained throughout.
