The 316d Steptronic is the entry-level diesel in the F30 sedan range, powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo diesel producing 116 hp and 270 Nm, paired with an eight-speed Steptronic automatic and rear-wheel drive. The 10.6-second 0-100 km/h time reflects its priority on fuel economy over performance. It targets buyers who want the 3 Series experience with the lowest running costs in the diesel lineup.
