BMW›5 Series›F11›523i Steptronic EU

The 523i Steptronic EU combines the European-specification 204 hp and 270 Nm output with the Steptronic automatic gearbox, bridging the gap between the manual EU variant and the lower-torque automatic. It posts a 0 to 100 km/h time of 8.2 seconds, placing it between the manual and the non-EU automatic in performance terms. The specification differences across these 523i variants reflect BMW's practice of tailoring engine mapping and transmission calibration by market.
