The car was commissioned as a tribute to the original Type 57 SC Atlantic, Jean Bugatti's legendary pre-war coupe, with the name translating directly to "The Black Car." Priced at approximately 11 million euros before taxes, it holds the distinction of being one of the most expensive new cars ever sold at the time of its reveal. As a unique, single-example commission, there are no variants or production series associated with it.
