The BYD F6 is a midsize sedan manufactured by the Chinese company BYD. Drawing design inspiration from various automotive models, the F6 showcases a blend of styles featuring elements reminiscent of the Honda Accord, Renault Latitude, and Mercedes-Benz S-Class. The car comes equipped with three engine options, all Mitsubishi designs, and offers two transmission choices: a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. In 2008, BYD presented the F6DM at the North American International Auto Show, introducing a plug-in hybrid concept based on the standard F6 model. The F6DM was designed to incorporate a lithium iron phosphate battery, marketed under the "Ferrous" trade name. This advanced battery technology allowed for rapid charging capability
