Cadillac CTS 2nd Gen

2007 – 2014 · USA

The Cadillac CTS is a luxury car produced by General Motors from 2003 to 2019 in three generations. Initially, it was a 4-door sedan utilizing the GM Sigma platform, followed by a second generation that also included a coupe and sport wagon, and a third generation sedan based on a stretched GM Alpha platform. Each generation offered high-performance sedan variants, including the popular CTS-V series. The first generation CTS represented a $4B investment by GM to redefine Cadillac's design language, introduce a new rear-wheel-drive platform, and re-establish the brand's luxury appeal. Notably, this marked the debut of Cadillac's "Art and Science" design language, created by designers Wayne Cherry and Kip Wasenko, who had previously unveiled it on the Evoq concept car.
