The ESV is the extended-wheelbase variant of the fourth-generation Escalade, adding roughly 20 centimetres of length over the standard model to increase third-row and cargo space. It is powered by GM's 6.2-litre EcoTec3 V8, producing 426 horsepower and 621 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and full-time all-wheel drive. The 0 to 100 km/h time of 6.9 seconds is a reasonable figure for a vehicle of this size and mass.
