The Chevrolet Beretta, a coupé manufactured by Chevrolet from 1987 to 1996, was introduced as the successor to the Chevrolet Citation, alongside the four-door Chevrolet Corsica. Positioned between the Cavalier and Lumina/Monte Carlo coupes, the Beretta featured unique vertical door handles mounted on the B-pillar, a distinctive design element also found in the Chevrolet Lumina coupe and other GM W-body models. Sharing the front-wheel-drive GM L platform with the Corsica, the Beretta replaced the X-body platform.
