The Chevrolet Celebrity was a mid-size passenger car line produced by Chevrolet from 1982 to 1990. It marked Chevrolet's shift towards front-wheel drive in the mid-size category, replacing the rear-wheel-drive Malibu line. Initially positioned between the Citation and Impala models, it was later situated between the Corsica and Caprice sedans in Chevrolet's lineup. The Celebrity was part of the GM A platform and shared its architecture with other vehicles such as the Buick Century, Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera, and Pontiac 6000.
