The Chrysler 180 was a series of large saloon cars produced by Chrysler Europe in collaboration with Rootes Group and Simca. Production of the Chrysler 180 took place from 1970 to 1975 in Poissy, France, and later at the Barreiros factory in Spain. The car also served as the basis for the medium-sized model, the Chrysler Centura, produced by Chrysler Australia. In various markets, the cars were marketed under different names such as Chrysler 160/180/2 litre, and from 1977 onwards in France and the rest of continental Europe as Chrysler-Simca 1609/1610/2 litres.
