The Daewoo Tosca, a mid-size car originally designed by Daewoo in South Korea, was also marketed under the Chevrolet brand as the Chevrolet Epica and Chevrolet Tosca. Additionally, Holden released it as the Holden Epica. The model, codenamed V250, took over from the Daewoo Magnus and its related versions. Notably, the Chevrolet Epica made its official debut in Europe during the 2006 Geneva Motor Show. A distinctive feature of the Tosca is the availability of transversely-mounted straight-six engines, setting it apart from its predecessors. Unlike the V100 Leganza and V200 Magnus, which bore the design influence of Giugiaro, the V250 was entirely developed in-house.
