The Daimler Company Limited, formerly known as the Daimler Motor Company Limited, was a British motor vehicle manufacturer established in London in 1896 by H. J. Lawson and later based in Coventry. The company acquired the rights to use the Daimler name from Gottlieb Daimler and Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft of Germany. Initially facing financial challenges, the company underwent reorganization in 1904. In 1910, the Birmingham Small Arms Company (BSA) purchased the Daimler Motor Company, adding to their own line of cars produced before World War II.
