EV Electra

EV Electra, founded in 2017 by Jihad Mohammad, emerged from a Lebanese investment firm to become an independent player in the electric vehicle market. The brand made waves with its first announced vehicle, the 'Quds Rise', a two-seater electric sports car, which faced launch delays but eventually debuted in 2021 amidst Lebanon’s economic crisis. Although EV Electra aimed to introduce this affordable sports car priced around $30,000, actual production did not materialize as planned. More recently, EV Electra acquired Detroit Electric and announced plans to produce cars in Turkey, indicating a strategic pivot to enhance its presence in the electric vehicle sector in Europe and the Middle East.
