Ferrari 195 Inter

1950 – 1951

Ferrari›195 Inter

The Ferrari 195 Inter was a grand touring road car produced between 1950 and 1951 as part of Ferrari's early lineup of street-going Colombo V12-engined models. The 195 designation referred to the individual cylinder displacement in cubic centimeters, with the 2.3-liter V12 producing outputs that varied depending on state of tune and coachbuilder specification. Bodies were commissioned from Italian carrozzerie including Ghia, Touring, and Vignale, meaning virtually every example differed in detail, and total production was limited to a small number of cars across the short production window. The 195 Inter occupies a transitional place in Ferrari's early road car history, sitting between the 166 Inter and the subsequent 212 Inter in the progression of Colombo-engined touring models.
