The Tigr, also known as the 'Tiger' in Russian, is a versatile 4x4 all-terrain infantry mobility vehicle designed and manufactured by the Military Industrial Company in Russia. It made its debut at the IDEX exhibition in 2001 and entered pilot production in 2004 with an initial batch of 96 vehicles. By the end of 2006, the Russian Army officially integrated the Tigr, designated as the GAZ-2975, into its military arsenal. This rugged vehicle is primarily utilized by the Russian Armed Forces and the Ministry of Internal Affairs for various purposes including troop transport, reconnaissance, patrol missions, and other logistical support duties.
