Holden Caprice VS

1990

The Holden Caprice and its counterpart, the Statesman, are full-size cars originally produced by Holden in Australia from 1990 to October 2017. The Caprice and Statesman are long-wheelbase variants of the Commodore range and have been marketed as the largest rear-wheel drive sedans offered by GM. The Statesman model was introduced in 1990 as a model below the Caprice; however, it was discontinued in September 2010. Prior to the introduction of Caprice and Statesman, Holden marketed their long-wheelbase sedans under the Statesman marque from 1971 to 1984. Internationally, the Statesman and Caprice have been rebadged as the Buick Royaum, Daewoo Statesman, and Chevrolet Caprice. Furthermore, these models have served as the foundation for other variations such as the Chinese-built Buick Park Avenue and the Bitter Vero, a restructured version from Germany. Key points: 1.
