The Holden Caprice and its counterpart, the Statesman, are full-size cars originally produced by Holden in Australia from 1990 to October 2017. The Caprice and Statesman are long-wheelbase variants of the Commodore range and have been marketed as the largest rear-wheel drive sedans offered by GM. The Statesman model was introduced in 1990 as a model below the Caprice; however, it was discontinued in September 2010. Prior to the introduction of Caprice and Statesman, Holden marketed their long-wheelbase sedans under the Statesman marque from 1971 to 1984.
