The sixth-generation Honda Civic, produced by Honda from 1995 to 2000, featured three body styles - a 3-door hatchback, 4-door sedan, and 2-door coupe, maintaining continuity with its predecessor. This generation introduced two new 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engines and a new continuously variable transmission (CVT) in the HX model, offering improved performance and efficiency. The coupe and sedan models were slightly longer than the previous generation by 2.3 inches (58 mm), while the hatchback was extended by 4.3 inches (109 mm).
