The Honda E0 series is a compact three-cylinder gasoline engine designed specifically for kei car applications. With a displacement of 656 cc, the E0 series engine offers an efficient and reliable option for small vehicles. The E0 engine is a successor to the E05A and E07A engines, with the latter being phased out in favor of the Honda P engine, except for the E07Z engine which continued to be used in the Acty truck as of 2020. This engine is based on the Honda EH Engine, a single overhead camshaft (SOHC) 2-cylinder engine. Interestingly, it shares a feature with the Honda D engine in that it rotates anti-clockwise from the timing belt side, which is a unique characteristic of these Honda engines. Key points: 1.
