The Honda HR-V is a subcompact crossover SUV produced by Honda over three generations. The first generation, derived from the Honda Logo, was available with either three or five doors and was sold from 1999 to 2006 in Europe, Japan, and select Asia-Pacific regions. The GH2 and GH4 versions referred to the three-door and five-door configurations, respectively. Following a seven-year break, Honda brought back the HR-V moniker for the second generation, which was built on the platform of the third-generation Honda Fit.
