The HSV SV88 is the original HSV model, produced in 1988 on the Holden Commodore VL. As the car that started the HSV legend, the SV88 was available with the Nissan-sourced turbocharged RB30ET inline-six or an optional V8, fitted with a bodykit, upgraded suspension, and unique interior touches that established the formula HSV would follow for 29 years.
