The Infiniti Q45 is a flagship luxury sedan model from Infiniti, Nissan's luxury division, produced across three generations from 1989 to 2006. It belongs to the full-size, rear-drive luxury sedan segment (F-segment in Europe) and is designed to accommodate five passengers. The first generation Q45, known as the G50 (1989–1996), debuted in 1989 with a powerful 4.5 L VH45DE DOHC 32V V8 engine delivering 278 hp and 292 lb⋅ft of torque. This generation was based on the Nissan President, featuring a viscous limited-slip differential and a multi-link suspension setup both at the front and rear. Subsequently, the second generation (1997–2000) and third generation (2002–2006) Q45 models were rebadged versions of Nissan's JDM Cima sedan. Despite the rebranding, they continued the tradition of luxury and performance associated with the Q45 name. However, the Q45 was discontinued after the 2006 model year. Although it left the market, the Q45 left a legacy of luxury, power, and sophisticated design in the full-size luxury sedan segment.
