The Infiniti Q45 is a luxurious full-size sedan produced by Infiniti, Nissan's luxury division, spanning three generations from 1989 to 2006. Positioned as the flagship model of Infiniti, the Q45 targeted the luxury market and was classified as an F-segment vehicle in Europe. The first generation Q45, introduced in 1989 and produced until 1996, featured a powerful 4.5 L VH45DE DOHC 32V V8 engine delivering 278 hp and 292 lb⋅ft of torque in North American models. This generation was based on the Nissan President and boasted advanced features such as a viscous limited-slip differential and multi-link suspension both front and rear, enhancing its performance and handling capabilities. The second and third generations of the Q45, produced from 1997 to 2000 and 2002 to 2006, were rebadged variants of Nissan's JDM Cima. These generations continued the legacy of luxury and performance set by their predecessor, combining elegant design with powerful engines and advanced technology to compete in the upscale sedan market. Unfortunately, Infiniti discontinued the Q45 after the 2006 model year, marking the end of the line for this luxury sedan.
