The Infiniti QX50, known as the Infiniti EX until 2013 and Nissan Skyline Crossover in the Japanese Domestic Market, is a compact luxury crossover SUV available in front- or all-wheel drive configurations. Manufactured and marketed by Infiniti, the three generations encompassed one EX generation followed by two QX50 generations. The first generation QX50 was initially introduced as the EX, notable for being the first car to feature a surround-view camera system called Around View Monitor. The model was updated and rebranded as the QX50 to align with Infiniti's new naming conventions. The EX Concept, showcased at the 2007 New York Auto Show, gave a glimpse of the upcoming model's features such as a V6 engine, a 5-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, a double-arch grille, LED taillights, and an elegant yet modern design with advanced elements like an adaptive front lighting system and lane departure warning. In 2017, the second-generation QX50 was launched as a 2019 model, enhancing the crossover with modern technology and design updates. With its focus on luxury, performance, and advanced safety features, the QX50 series has positioned itself as a compelling option in the compact luxury SUV market.
