Innocenti Small

1991 – 1994

The Innocenti Mini, introduced in 1974 by Innocenti, was a reimagined version of the iconic Mini, featuring a stylish three-door hatchback design crafted by Bertone. In the following years, the car saw developments, including a five-door prototype around 1980 that unfortunately didn't make it to production. In 1976, the Innocenti brand was acquired by De Tomaso, leading to a shift in the power source of the Mini to Daihatsu's three-cylinder engines. Despite this change, production continued with various updates until its discontinuation in 1993. Before the introduction of the Mini 90/120 hatchback models, Innocenti initially focused on assembling the original Mini design using CKD kits.
