The Isuzu Fargo was a light commercial van produced by Japanese automaker Isuzu from 1980 to 2001. It had two generations, with the first generation manufactured from 1980 to 1995 and the second generation introduced in 1995. The first generation was available in both van and pickup body styles, while the second generation was only offered as a van. The second-generation Isuzu Fargo, which was introduced in 1995, was essentially a rebadged version of the Nissan Caravan (E24) and not an original Isuzu design. This marked a shift in the production strategy of Isuzu for the Fargo. Interestingly, the first-generation Isuzu Fargo was marketed in Australia by Holden, the Australian subsidiary of General Motors, under the name Holden Shuttle between 1982 and 1990. In Europe and New Zealand, the first series of Isuzu Fargo vans were sold under the Isuzu WFR name.
