The JAC S3 is a compact crossover from JAC Motors, shown first as the Heyue S30 at Shanghai in 2013 and renamed Refine S3 in 2014. A naturally aspirated 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine drives the front wheels through a five-speed manual or a CVT. It is a budget family SUV aimed at the Chinese market and a handful of export markets, with a facelift and more equipment arriving over its run from 2014.
