The Landwind X6, a mid-size SUV, is a product of Jiangling Motor Holding, a collaboration between Changan Auto and Jiangling Motors Corporation Group (JMCG). Originally known as the JMC Landwind, it transitioned into the Landwind X6 when Landwind became an independent brand under JMC. The design of the JMC Landwind is heavily influenced by older imported technology, particularly the Isuzu Rodeo model that was marketed from 1998 to 2004.
