The Kia K3 is a subcompact car in the B-segment that has been in production since 2023 as a successor to the Kia Rio. It was developed under the codename BL7 and is offered in hatchback and sedan body styles. The nameplate K3 was previously used for the Forte/Cerato model in the Chinese and South Korean markets, but it has been succeeded by the K4 in 2024 as part of Kia's realignment of their passenger car nomenclature. The Kia K3 was initially teased on 4 August 2023 and was officially revealed on 8 August 2023 in Mexico. Not long after, the announcement of the hatchback version followed on 5 October 2023
