Koenigsegg Agera S

2012 – 2014

The Koenigsegg Agera S was produced from 2012 to 2014 as a variant of the mid-engine Agera lineup, positioned within a family of closely related high-output derivatives that included the Agera R and Agera N among others. It was powered by Koenigsegg's twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8, producing 1,040 hp, drawing from the same core architecture shared across the Agera range while being tuned to run on standard premium pump fuel rather than requiring E85 or E100 ethanol blends, distinguishing it from the more aggressive Agera R specification. That fuel flexibility made the Agera S a more internationally accessible proposition for buyers in markets where high-ethanol fuel was not readily available, without meaningfully compromising the performance envelope. It sits as one of the foundational variants of the Agera generation, preceding the more specialized record-chasing derivatives that followed later in the model's production run.
