The Lancia Appia, introduced in 1953 by Italian car manufacturer Lancia, replaced the Ardea and enjoyed a production run of ten years. Being the final model in a series of Lancia cars that utilized sliding pillar front suspension dating back to the Lancia Lambda in 1922, the Appia boasted a 1089cc Lancia V4 engine across all three series it produced.
