Land Rover Range Rover L405

2012 – 2022

The Land Rover Range Rover, known simply as the Range Rover, is a luxurious 4x4 SUV produced by Land Rover, a division of Jaguar Land Rover. First introduced in 1970 by British Leyland, the Range Rover has evolved through five generations. Alongside the original Range Rover model, there are additional variants under the Range Rover name, such as the Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Evoque, and Range Rover Velar. The concept of a larger Land Rover model was initially explored by the Rover Company in 1951, resulting in the development of the two-wheel-drive "Road Rover" project. However, this project was put on hold in 1958. It wasn't until 1966 when engineers Spen King and Gordon Bashford reignited the idea, leading to the creation of the Range Rover. Key Points: 1.
