Livan Automotive is a notable joint venture company established by Lifan Group and Geely Qizheng, a subsidiary of Zhejiang Geely Holding (ZGH). Founded in 2022 after Geely's Maple and Lifan Technology merged, Livan focuses on the rapidly growing market for battery-swapping electric vehicles in China. By utilizing Geely's established platforms, the joint venture produces electric vehicles marketed under both the Livan and Maple brands domestically. Despite its roots in China, Livan has also ventured into international markets, positioning itself as Geely's more affordable brand, particularly in countries like Russia. This strategic move allows Geely to address a wider range of consumers and capitalize on the demand for budget-friendly electric vehicles overseas. Und
